Paul D. Weiss

Mr. Weiss, a Director at BKSH & Associates, has more than 13 years of experience in government affairs.

Mr. Weiss came to BKSH & Associates after serving as chief of staff to Resident Commissioner Aníbal Acevedo-Vilá, who represented Puerto Rico during the 107th and 108th Congresses. Mr. Acevedo-Vilá was elected Governor of Puerto Rico in November 2004.

Prior to working on Capitol Hill, Mr. Weiss directed the government affairs campaign for an association with interests in surface transportation policy before Congress and the administration.

Mr. Weiss previously worked for a public affairs firm in Washington for seven years, during which he focused on surface transportation policy and municipal government representation. He also worked for a firm in Albany, New York, representing transportation related clients before the State Assembly and Senate and the Governor’s office.

Mr. Weiss graduated from the University of Vermont with a bachelor’s degree in political science. While at Vermont, Mr. Weiss played varsity lacrosse and was the Coach’s Player of the Year his senior season.
